During the turn from ‘90s to ‘00s I was finishing high school and starting college. Living in Croatia at the time I had no access to a credit card, my mother had one no online store would accept. PayPal was a thing I aspired to. At one time I e-mailed Ron Edwards to see if I could just snail mail the $5 to him for a pdf copy of Sorcerer (he was extremely kind and just sent it to me).
There are a lots of games I missed out in that period of my life. So when I remeber I look them up and get them if I can. At the start of the year I was in a gaming funk, having lost a bag with a bunch of my old, nostalgia, gaming parafenalia (and Witchburner – a bleated birthday present with the best dedication ever). For no reason I could remember I was looking up Clinton R. Nixon, and the next thing I knew Lulu was printing me a copy of The Shadow of Yesterday.
